Most agencies would just provide a cursory description on their staff, but at SP-STANLEY QUEK, we want you to get to know us better. After all, we are all about our people. So, meet us below:
Faith Lee Wai Yen
The eternal optimist, Faith derives joy from life’s simple pleasures, such as sharing a cuppa with an old friend or learning a new skill. In her downtime, she unwinds to soft music while reading the biographies of inspirational people like Anne Frank and Gandhi. She believes that people are sceptical about insurance and insurance agents because they don’t ask enough questions to dispel their fears and concerns. “Insurance is the key to a better life. There is no wrong insurance, just not enough insurance,” says the forthcoming and warm lady. Looking to become an agency leader in 10 years, she hopes to build a team
that will be the crème de la crème of the insurance industry, much like the one she works with now.
Angel Low Shun Ai
The pint-sized Angel belies the big personality that lies beneath. The self-proclaimed foodie is hungry not only for delectable delights, but also knowledge. “Getting more information and knowledge excites me,” says Angel. With a love for life and people, the vivacious young lady believes that the key to successfully helping her clients is integrity and honesty. “Being truthful is so much easier. Your clients trust you; you don’t need to second-guess your clients and your clients don’t need to second-guess you. It’s too tiring to have to ‘be careful’ of the people handling your finances.”
Jean Chai Woon Chien
A mother of a young daughter, Jean is learning to juggle motherhood and helping people with their financial needs, but she enjoys the challenge. Down-to-earth and affable, she makes everyone she meets comfortable. Subscribing to patience, kindness, sincerity and relationship-building as keys to being a good Financial Services Consultant, she firmly believes in the theory of sowing and reaping. “The earth is round; what goes around comes around. Hence, we must be sincere and kind, for we never know what will happen the next minute.”
Joanna Soh Bee Theng
Known as the busy bee of the team, Joanna finds comfort in dark chocolate, good cake and great company. A firm believer in giving back to society, Joanna has donated a fair bit to charity over the years. “I don’t believe in keeping every cent I’ve earned in the bank; giving is part of my lifestyle because it keeps me grounded.” Helping clients who don’t have much to find an affordable insurance plan which protects them and makes their lives a little easier gives her great satisfaction and she hopes to be still passionately selling insurance in 10 years.
Stacia Chew Sue Ching
Witty and soft-spoken, Stacia is a fountain of knowledge with an eye for detail. A great advocate of recycling, she hopes that more people would spend more time thinking about societal issues. “It’s important for people to do community work because it gives them an opportunity to relate to the poor people that they are giving to; to see that the money they give isn’t just going to “some organisation”, but is really helping the poor, those who have to live in the dark for months because they can’t afford money to replace a blown light bulb.”
Chona Del Mundo
A mother of two young daughters, Chona is the epitome of a working mum. Holding a Degree in Business Administration and a Degree in Information Management, Chona is always on the mission of self-improvement and believes that “you can never be too old to learn new things.” “When I want things to change, I have to change myself first,” says the unconventional lady, who is flexible and always willing to try new and different ways of achieving new challenges and goals. While family is her priority, she hopes to help shape the strategic direction of insurance and financial planning services as a senior manager in the future and to continue helping individuals build and take full control of their financial future.
Chai Sook Lee
Sook Lee is the proverbial girl-next-door. A new mum, Sook Lee loves spending time with her family and believes in creating “alone time” with her husband, despite her busy schedule and late appointments with clients. A strong believer in “selling insurance the ‘traditional’ way, she takes time to get back to basics when explaining financial plans to her clients. With a simple hope of devoting herself to the insurance line and having a wider pool of clients who are also her friends, she hopes to continue helping her friends with their financials needs and goals in the generations to come.
Grace Loh Joo Hwee
The sporty and active one in the team, Grace loves basketball and running because it “helps her to focus.” She used to practice Muay Thai, a kickboxing martial art, which originated in Thailand, but had to put it on hiatus due to multiple sports injuries. Always punctual, Grace dedicates the same discipline and focus in sports to her clients because they “deserve her time.” Grace finds great purpose in helping youths who are depressed and hopes to be able to leave her footprints in many parts of the world by doing good works.
